Mt Albert Primary School celebrated its 150th  Anniversary in 2021
We were asked to redo all the gold leaf work on a 100 year old “Roll of Honour” Honours Board.
Here is what transpired.
 
Marion Caulfield (Principal) needed a craftsman to restore her “Roll of Honour” Honours Board
so she called Corporate Signage. We supplied a quotation, removed the board and took it back to our
factory.

First step was to delicately clean the panels ensuring not to remove the existing gold leaf.
Next we sealed the board and finished it with a clear coat. Nobody could believe it was the same board.
The board was initially gold leafed by D.M.A. Bodley about 100 years ago. It is now an art piece.

With restoring the board rather than redoing the whole board we reduced the cost from the initial
quotation.
